Brittany Brooks, MD, is an Assistant Medical Director and Virtual Primary Care Doctor with First Stop Health. She became a doctor after seeing how her own family doctor helped to make people feel better and wanted to do the same for others. When it comes to caring for her patients, she focuses on partnering with her patients so that they can create attainable goals that focus on having both a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle.

Carl Peters, MD
Virtual Primary Care Doctor
Dr. Peters is a board-certified physician with First Stop Health and has been a family practice doctor for over 25 years including 6 years active duty with the US Air Force. He went into medicine, in particular family medicine, to be able to care for a wide variety of people from infants to the elderly. Since then, he has completed over 100,000 visits in-person and 12,000 with virtual care.
Sally Sartin, MD
Virtual Primary Care Doctor
Dr. Sartin believes that the doctor patient relationship is a two-way street and uses shared decision-making. Both the doctor and the patient need to work together in bringing about healing and better health. Her goal is also to treat patients the way she would a family or a friend. Providing compassionate care is the key to developing meaningful relationships as well as to reaching treatment goals in the most effective manner.

Jim Bovienzo, MD
Assistant Medical Director
Dr. Bovienzo is an Assistant Medical Director and Urgent Care Doctor with First Stop Health. Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, he currently resides and practices medicine in midtown Manhattan (and sometimes, Maui, Hawaii!). He is currently an attending physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and an associate professor of emergency medicine at Zucker Hofstra School of Medicine.

Specializing in diabetes prevention and control, Sherree is an experienced and recognized leader in the field of chronic disease prevention and control and has served patients, hospitals, physician practices and corporations with education, program development, implementation and results.

Director of Health Coaching
As Director of Health Coaching, Blair oversees programs designed to empower and support individuals seeking to reach personal health goals. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a clinical nutrition manager, dietitian, and certified health and wellbeing advisor. Blair is responsible for making sure that our health coaches create engaging experiences and always go the extra miles to meet each participant's needs.
Lauree' Slingerland, MS, RDN, LD, CDCES
Dietitian, Diabetes Educator
Lauree' believes health can be whatever you need it to be (mental, social, emotional, physical) to live happier and fulfilled lives. She has a background in acute care, long-term care consulting, and experience in dialysis and diabetes medical devices. She's passionate about putting her participants in control of their wellbeing and helping them realize their full potential.
Courtney Rusomaroff, DPT, CHWC
Health Coach
Courtney has more than 7 years of experience as a health coach. In addition to her coaching background, she brings a clinical background as an orthopedic Physical Therapist. Courtney enjoys investing her time and energy in supporting individuals in achieving their personal health and wellness goals. She views coaching as a powerful tool that can assist others in promoting self-love and self-discovery.
