Why did we add telemedicine and virtual counseling as an employee benefit?
By providing virtual access to doctors and counselors, we help employees save time going to and from in-person visits. We can help them save money on unnecessary claims and copays, as well.
Who is enrolled?
All medical-enrolled employees are automatically enrolled in First Stop Health along with their immediate family members. Family members do not need to be enrolled in a medical plan to use First Stop Health.
How do employees use the service?
To use the service, employees can download the mobile app (search First Stop Health in their app store), login at fshealth.com or call 888-691-7867. Pre-registration is not required, and the service is available 24/7.
How much does it cost?
$0. The service is FREE to use.
What can be treated?
Employees can call First Stop Health for diagnosis and treatment of sinus issues, sore throats, coughs, etc. Many illnesses typically treated in an urgent care center, doctor’s office, or even emergency room can be diagnosed and treated within minutes. They can also speak with a master’s level counselor for issues like depression/anxiety, work and home life stress, substance abuse and more.
